Fullstack Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new dapps in the Nervos CKB ecosystem.
  • Explore best practices in building Nervos CKB dapps.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to enrich the Nervos ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years experience in the software development field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Ruby, Python, etc.
  • Experience shipping Web projects to production.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with open source projects.
  • Experience working with blockchain related projects.
  • Existing open source library maintainer is preferred.

Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and build frontend-only Web dapps in the Nervos ecosystem.
  • Explore best practices in building Nervos CKB dapps.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to enrich the Nervos ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in the software development field.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend Web development.
  • Experience working with open source projects. Open source library maintainer is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with blockchain related projects.
  • Experience with WebAssembly.
  • Experience with Jamstack is preferred.

Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior designer and design team to deliver exceptional solutions across various design requirements (e.g. Campaigns, Brand Design, Package Design, Powerpoint Templates, and Motion Graphics)
  • Create visual graphics for social media posts
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently both effectively and efficiently
  • Provide creative inputs for new project development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Keep eyes on details and aesthetics
  • Great communication skills
  • Passionate about life and design, eager to learn and share

Plus

  • Great English reading and writing skills
  • Experience working in a design studio/agency
  • Motion design experience with AfterEffects or Cinema4D
  • Illustration experience

Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams to learn about latest advancements in the Nervos ecosystem.
  • Work together with external teams to integrate actual dapps with protocols in the Nervos ecosystem.
  • Build and demonstrate new inventions at different conferences and meetups.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in the software development field.
  • Proficiency in at least one widely used language, e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, etc.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience communicating with clients is preferred.
  • Experience working with blockchain related projects.
  • Experience working with open source projects.

Senior Researcher

Responsibilities

  • Extract meaningful research topics from the Nervos ecosystem.
  • Deliver practical solutions to the extracted topics if they fall within the candidate’s specialty, and publish papers at reputable venues.
  • If the topic is outside the candidate’s specialty, the candidate can lead collaboration with colleges/community experts and deliver practical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate holds a Ph.D. degree in Cryptography/Information Security/Applied Mathematics or related fields.
  • The candidate has published papers at CORE A or A+ conferences.
  • English as a working language.

  • Engineering Experience
  • Familiar with Nervos

Blockchain Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the sidechain solution for Nervos Network.
  • Explore new frontiers that can push the boundaries of the Nervos Layer-2 ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Rust language.
  • Familiarity with Ethereum, Bitcoin, or other blockchain projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sidechain and other scaling solutions, e.g. Substrate, Cosmos ABI, and/or rollups.
  • Experience maintaining open source projects in Rust.
  • Knowledge of common cryptography, such as PKI, commit-reveal schema and VRF.

Senior Blockchain Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and build layer 2 blockchain on top of Nervos CKB.
  • Identify and debug performance issues to improve layer 2 blockchains.
  • Explore new frontiers that can push the boundaries of the whole Nervos CKB ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in the software development field.
  • Proficiency in at least one system language, including Rust, C/C++.
  • Experience with high performance multi-threaded software systems.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferable Qualifications

  • Experience working with open source projects.
  • Experience in modern distributed systems is preferred.
  • Experience working on Bitcoin or other permission-less blockchain.
